Despite the fact that frontman Jónsi‘s been keeping busy with his latest solo album Go and a fair amount of touring, his Icelandic brethren that make up heavyweight favorites Sigur Rós have been fairly quiet. That all changed yesterday as the band took to their Soundcloud, posting a bevy of unreleased material: a demo of “Svefn-g-englar” from ’99 including live tracks taken from the year before, in addition to demos and “manipulations” from the sessions of 2000 masterpiece Agaetis Byrjun. The ten tracks clock in at around a half hour, and there’s been no additional news associated with the release. Listen below:
